The Partners

George Evans George presently serves on the Board of the Indiana County United Way, as a member of the Indiana Healthcare Corporation, on the Board of Trustees of Indiana First Bank, where he is Chairman, as an Elder of Graystone Presbyterian Church, as a member of Financial Executives International, as a member of the Advisory Council of IUP’s Eberly College of Business and Information Technology, and on the Indiana County Strategic Planning Commission. George most recently served as a Trustee of the Graystone Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund. He served as the Vice President and Treasurer of Rochester & Pittsburgh Coal Company, having been with R&P in senior financial positions since 1976 until its sale in 1998. Prior to joining R & P, he was an audit manager with a Big Eight public accounting firm. A graduate of Waynesburg College , he has been a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania since 1973. He and his wife, Karen, have four adult children.		Jeffrey Mack Jeff graduated in 1979 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After graduation he worked on the audit staff of a Big Eight public accounting firm.  Prior to establishing Evans & Mack, Jeff was the Corporate Controller for Rochester & Pittsburgh Coal Company based in Indiana . During his seventeen year career at R&P, Jeff was involved in accounting for employee pension and benefit plans, income tax planning, and public reporting. He serves on the Board of Deacons of the Graystone Presbyterian Church, on the Board of Directors of the Indiana County Guidance Center , where he is the Vice President, and as the current Treasurer of the Indiana Kiwanis Club. He previously served on the Board of the Indiana County YMCA where he was also Treasurer. Jeff and his wife, Linda, have two children, Meghan and Andrew.
Both men are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and have completed numerous courses sponsored by those organizations to remain current on tax laws, accounting trends, and individual and business financial consulting practices. The firm is a member of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Indiana.
